These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Giz & Halo website and online store.

The store is operated by Giz & Halo LLC (“Giz & Halo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and hosted through Shopify. By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked on the website.

  1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTABLE USE

You must be the age of majority in your place of residence or use the website with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use the website or its content for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose. You may not interfere with the website’s security or operation, introduce malicious code, collect information without permission, or violate another party’s rights.

  1. PRODUCT AND STORE INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to present accurate product descriptions, photographs, colors, measurements, prices, and availability.

Screen and device settings may affect how colors and product details appear. Product measurements and breed references are provided as guidance and may not guarantee a particular fit.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, limit quantities, refuse or cancel orders, change prices, or discontinue products when reasonably necessary.

If we cancel an order for which payment has been collected, we will refund the affected amount.

  1. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

Submitting an order represents an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when we confirm its acceptance or begin fulfilling it.

You agree to provide complete and accurate billing, shipping, contact, and payment information.

We may limit or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, unauthorized, intended for unauthorized resale, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.

  1. PRODUCT USE AND PET SAFETY

Customers are responsible for selecting products appropriate for their dog’s size, health, temperament, and intended activity.

Supervise your pet when appropriate, inspect products regularly, and discontinue use immediately if an item becomes damaged, loose, worn, or unsafe.

Unless expressly described otherwise, accessories and apparel are not chew toys, safety restraints, flotation devices, or substitutes for veterinary advice.

To the extent permitted by law, Giz & Halo is not responsible for injury or damage caused by improper sizing, misuse, lack of supervision, product alteration, or continued use of a damaged product.

  1. CURATED AND THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS

Some products sold by Giz & Halo are made or supplied by independent brands.

The names and trademarks of those brands belong to their respective owners. Any product-specific care instructions, safety warnings, warranties, or restrictions supplied by the manufacturer also apply.

  1. SHIPPING, RETURNS, AND REFUNDS

Purchases are subject to our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, both of which form part of these Terms.

Inventory may be limited. Placing an item in your shopping cart does not reserve or guarantee its availability.

  1. GIFT CARDS AND PROMOTIONS

Gift cards are non-refundable except where required by law.

Promotions and discount codes may have expiration dates, product exclusions, purchase requirements, and usage limits. Unless expressly stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined or applied retroactively.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website’s branding, logos, product designs, photographs, graphics, written content, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Giz & Halo and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the website for personal shopping and informational purposes only.

Website content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, or commercially exploited without prior written permission from Giz & Halo.

  1. REVIEWS, PHOTOGRAPHS, AND SUBMISSIONS

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content, you represent that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person’s rights.

We may moderate or remove submitted content when appropriate.

A customer photograph privately sent to customer service will not be used in public marketing solely because it was submitted. Separate permission may be requested when needed.

The website may use or link to services operated by Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, social-media platforms, and other third parties.

Those services are governed by their respective terms and privacy practices. Giz & Halo is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or operation of unaffiliated websites.

  1. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Giz & Halo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the website or its products.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

  1. SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Failure to enforce a provision does not waive that provision or any other right.

  1. CHANGES AND TERMINATION

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date.

We may suspend or terminate access to the website for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens the website, Giz & Halo, our customers, or others.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
